What is DART Sim?

The ECG Rhythm & Monitor/Defibrillator Simulator is an app that turns your iPad or iPad Mini into an ECG rhythm generator, defibrillator, and patient monitor simulator all in one. It is a cost-effective and convenient way to train medical professionals in ACLS, PALS, NRP, ECG, and many more. The app is compliant with American Heart Association guidelines and can be controlled with an iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad mini, or another iPad.

Download and install the DART Sim app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using DART Sim on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "DART Sim"
The search will reveal the DART Sim app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once DART Sim is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including DART Sim.
Now enjoy DART Sim on PC.

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing DART Sim:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "DART Sim" » Click "Install" to install DART Sim

Wow, What a great simulator!!

I have to say this application is really convenient for teaching ACLS and PALS courses. I like how cheap it is compared to other options out there. My department purchased iPads specifically to run this program. In the past we paid thousands of dollars on real defibrillators and rhythm generators. We auctioned off our Zoll monitors we used for training on ebay. We got 3 iPad AIR's and 3 new iPod touches and our department had plenty of money left over. Thank you for making such a great product!
Crashing

Bought this app for multiple IPads. The app is constantly crashing across all of the devices (some are newer than others). It will crash before I am able to input all of the vital signs. I tried contacting DARTSim via email and got zero support. All they did were ask simple questions like, “Is your device up to date with its current software?”, and had no solution for how to fix the problems. Now I have a 25$ app on 10 iPads that is completely worthless. Spend your money somewhere else.

Still waiting for an updated scenario version for 2015 AHA guidelines. I called tech support a year ago and they said waiting for Apple. So sad, as it’s such a great program...
Scenarios?

I bought the additional 33 scenarios. They do not match any of the published AHA scenarios from 2015 and many of them don’t even have complete information. So I tried to build my own and discovered that once built, they cannot be renamed, reordered or the sequence of the information in the scenario reordered. I am requesting a refund and researching other apps.
