It does work

First thing install the receiver in your car, then pair it to you phone like you find a Bluetooth head set in the settings menu. Once it has been pair once it becomes a saved device. Now, with Bluetooth on. Flip the witch to the receiver (that you should have installed) to. Turn off. Then open the app. Now turn the receiver back on. The app will say searching and then it will pair. From here the only thing you need to do with this app is set to station on radio to play through and set receiver to "on" so that it won't cut out sound when you pause a song. Now you don't need the app again. Simple turn Bluetooth on for phone and the receive. They pair automatically, the static or station won't cut out until you start playing media on the phone then it will take over the radio station and play your music. Got it. Work like a charm every time.
Need iOS 11 version

The app works great and does what it should do. Regarding the hardware, make sure to have the switch installed. The guy that installed it talked me into opting out of the switch and only using the app. That’s not always convenient, but I thought I’d just use the auto switch feature for when a Bluetooth signal was identified. I was surprised at all the apps that send an audio signal, even when phone is set to silent. Now I’m in a weird situation because I can’t turn the setting off because they haven’t released an iOS 11 version of the app. I hope they do it soon.
Incompatible

It’d be great if this app was compatible with iOS 11, but it is not. I used this app before and it was great, but after the iOS 11 update, it no longer works. I have communicated with the app customer support repeatedly to have them update it and they say that the update is “being approved by the App Store.” Well, it has been “being approved” for almost 6 months now. Unbelievable. If it is not going to be updated for compatibility, just tell it to me straight; don’t tell me “it’s being approved” for nearly half a year.
Device works great, but....

Lets get the obvious out. I installed everything perfectly. And it plays perfectly. But when I pause any music or sound source after 6 seconds I get static. I've tried the previous review who claims that it works but I'm finding the app useless. Can anyone help? Again all my connections are perfect and synced, I did everything the previous poster said.
