    Definitely works on iPad (portrait mode). I rarely write reviews, but this app's soooo top-of-the-line that I had to! If you're looking for quality, pristine, revitalizing, health-enhancing the app routines with a cardio workout founded in a healing, nurturing tone, that's packaged in one video, this is the app for you. I own numerous the app apps, and am still at the beginner level. Many other apps do not offer multi-level practices with all the flowing sequences in one simple video. I grew tired of other app's poor quality videos that forced me to click a video for each pose. This app offers numerous comprehensive videos for the beginner, intermediate & advanced the app practitioner (17 to 30 minutes each). It offers many ready-made practices that are invigorating. There are also brief instructional videos for each pose. You can even build your own routine & save it. Janet gently guides each pose in the sequence, at a good & do-able pace, coupled with soothing background music & a beautiful, peaceful retreat-like setting (instead of other apps' dissonant gym setting or the ubiquitous beach setting). And it has a wonderful added bonus: several brief meditations that balance, soothe & inspire. All of this at such a cheap price is truly incredible. Thank you! Namaste.
  • Almost perfect! Definitely get this app!

    This is a great app! I was skeptical at first and somewhat turned off by her cues to focus on the "fire element", etc. But I decided to give the app a second chance. And I've finally started to enjoy the app! The sequences flow very well. I've started with daily beginner and I like that it slowly progresses in skill and time length, so it builds on what you did before. This makes it great for someone who is a beginner and for someone who is not as flexible. I've been using this seriously for about a month and a half and I'm already noticing increased hamstring flexibility. Why not five stars? The bridge pose audio seems to be broken and lolo said they would fix it in their next update, but it's a little slow going for that to happen in my opinion. I'm writing a review hoping more people will try this out and maybe that will spur the update. I know this app isn't free, but considering that an in person the app class can run up to $20, the price of this app is nothing!
  • Can't keep up

    I am not new to the app. I'd say I'm past beginner and can handle intermediate material. I thought I would start from scratch with a basic Vinyasa lesson. What I like about the app, compared to some of the other the app apps that I've used, is that it uses live video instead of pictures and the music and sound effects aren't cheesy and over the top. However, I had to stop mid-session to write this review because I'm so frustrated that I can't keep up! Like I said, I'm not new to the app and I also don't have any problem following instruction, and the basic Vinyasa has very basic moves in it, and right now I am more stressed and flustered because I am trying to do proper positioning and breathing and she's 3 steps ahead of me :| I guess if I push through this 12 more times I'll just have it memorized and can go at my own pace but in the mean time... I'm going to look for another app until there's a way to slow it down.

    I have used other Lolo apps and have loved them, not this one. I was unimpressed with the way the beginner version started out. In No Way is this for beginners. She wants you to get into poses your body can't even do yet. I thought this would help me gradually get my flexibility back but would only cause me more injury in trying these poses. Do not recommend if just starting the app!!!! I have deleted this app, will look for another. Disappointed even more since I paid for this app.
