Handy trainer
By mdak (Pcmac user)
…locked up on me once (I think the program was encouraging me to take a break) but after closing/reopening have not had a problem. I run it on Mac Mini OSX 10.9.5 Don’t use the scratch pad feature (just paper and pencil for now) but the improvement suggested by SchaqFu would make this program even better. Really like this resource and it’s improving my CW skills copying and sending…thanks and 73!

Not on the iMac
By Dwilma (Pcmac user)
I installed on my iMac and began to develop an ear in lesson 1, but then the app stopped functioning. When I pressed play there is no sound. Upon visiting User Support the note is to turn off mute, but my sound is on. The app works fine on my iPad so far. I want it to work on my iMac. I will rate it Don’t Like It for this reason.

Sound stopped working
By Dan KY (Pcmac user)
I know, turn off mute…well the sound is up and works for other apps. This app worked fine some time ago, but went to use it tonight and no sound…and no useful help anywhere. Seems others have had the same issue. Too bad this thing stopped working

Missing useful functions
By App user 57 (Pcmac user)
Unlike free versions available for Windows based systems the program does not give you the option of playing each character and learning it’s sound. It gives you a list of characters that are in the lesson, but does not tell you which is which as it is sending them to you. Leaving you to figure out which one is which at the end of the exercise. For that reason I have to rate it unfavorably. It needs the function to allow you to play a character and learn it’s sound if you are having trouble with one. It may be ok for someone whho is has code/keyboard skills and wants to stay sharp.
