Install CU Transit app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using CU Transit on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "CU Transit"
The search will reveal the CU Transit app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once CU Transit is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including CU Transit.
Now enjoy CU Transit on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native CU Transit Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use CU Transit,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "CU Transit" » then Click "Install".
- CU Transit will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Great App and Always Updated

I love this app. It helps me navigate through all of Champaign and Urbana. The bus times are always updated so that you know if a bus is behind schedule. It also allows you to type in a place you would like to go and then gives you several options of how to get there. It knows my location so know matter where I am, it can point to me to the nearest bus stop for a route home.
Doesn’t include some buses

Doesn’t include bus 9A at Transit Plaza!! Why not?
Terrible app terrible customer support

Trip planner on app does not include the ability to schedule a time for the trip just tells you what buses happen to be around you at the time you’re using the app. Also customer support is terrible sent two emails months ago which were never answered. Also has trouble recognizing local landmarks in streets.
Although not free, good bus app on UIUC.

I have been using it for a year now. 1 shows where the bus is now 2 shows the route of the bus route 3 reliable never fails (Illini bus does fail sometime) 4 location services
