Download and install the Soap calc app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Soap calc on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Soap calc"
- The search will reveal the Soap calc app icon. Open, then click "Install".

This is exactly what I was looking for. You can input your variety of oils and the app will tell you how much lye to use, with options for changing the superfat percentage. The app will predict the characteristics of your the app, and you can email the results to yourself to keep as a record. Others have commented on the app crashing, though I haven't experienced this yet. It would be nice if it allowed you to save your recipes for later tweaking or let you easily scale your recipes for batches of various sizes, but it is still a good tool.

Love how you can substitute goat or regular milk for the water with wonderful results!!!! It makes beautiful milk the app that way!!!
Love how you can take an existing recipe and use the soapcalc and substitute things you have at home for things in recipe and have great results! Awesome when you are short an oil and need a substitute!!!
Can't say enough great things about it!!! Just have to think outside the box!!!
If I were to upgrade or change something...it would be the lye calculated part....I would have it so when it went to calculate the recipe it changes the oil amounts so that the lye is easier to weight/measure....it is harder to measure lye than it is to measure the oils....
example...if my recipe called for 16 ounces of oil and it meant .165 lye...then I would rather the results change the oil to 18.7 ounces and the lye to .7 ounces so the lye becomes an even number to weight......
Anyway I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Never had an issue

I've been using this app for well over a year I've double checked it's results with other calc and done the math, it's always right on point! This calc is easier simpler and my favorite over all other calc s ... I've seen reviews saying it froze which I'm wondering if it's their device or internet because in over a year I've not had one issue ! I love it and highly recommend...

Disappointing

Downloaded this app last week. Put in my desired amounts 2 or 3 different times and was happy to think I finally had a good tool to use. Now the app won't even open up for me to start using! What's up with that?!! Please fix whatever bug needs to be fixed! Glad I didn't waste money on the 'pro' version. I guess it's true what they say: you get what you paid for. I paid nothing and I'm getting nothing!!!
