Good app, even better with upgrades

I use this app to record acoustic Guitar using iPhone 7. It is very good for my use since I can easily pick up slight glitches in my playing. Excellent for recording notes to self. Surprisingly good music recording with the extra purchases. Haven’t signed up for yearly subscription yet. I wish there was an easier way to switch back and forth from the saved songs to the recording mode. The short cuts available on IPhone disappear after a couple of uses, then I must close the app and open it again to get back to recording. I would like to see a dedicated switch within the app-that would make it 5 star excellent for music. Don’t understand the one star reviews since I haven’t encountered problems of that nature.
Simple, Ideal recording app even in free version

I am a music artist, producer, audio engineer and business owner. Im also a disorganized and forgetful 26 year old with ADD. this app has been the most ideal recording app I’ve come across, with powerful features in the free version. “Tap to Mark“ allows you to not break concentration while creating a numbered time stamp, for easy recall to key areas when revisiting recordings. “Categories” keeps things organized. While Google Drive auto back-up makes accessing your recordings on your computer or other devices seamless. Auto silence works great, the input gain and threshold control allows effective recordings, even with a tv on or people talking in the room. Solid app!!!

I’m okay with paying 5$ a year for the functionality I previously had with my one time purchase. I didn’t like being forced to do it. I was on stage when things failed to work and couldn’t figure out what was wrong until the next day. It was a very humiliating experience. I do like the app very much and hope the developer continues to support it. I can’t expect him, her or they to work for free forever to keep it working on every new iOS update. I’d also like to request support for the Apple Watch. I believe enough people agree with me. I’d pay extra for that as well. Thanks for keeping the costs reasonable.

Thanks to this app I get to connect my Zoom H5 to my phone and record with super high quality mics, while benefitting from the ridiculously easy editor this app has. I can switch the playback to Bluetooth headphones in less than a second for playback and editing, and switch right back to the H5 for recording. I really like the sound of the H5 and what it does, but using this app as the recording workstation is miles easier, and more fun. I like to record sounds for producing. I wanted something that made file transferring and organizing easier than how the H5 does it. I didn’t expect to also get something I could edit so easily at the same time!
