Install Bee-Bot app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Bee-Bot on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Bee-Bot"
The search will reveal the Bee-Bot app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Bee-Bot is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Bee-Bot.
Now enjoy Bee-Bot on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Bee-Bot Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Bee-Bot,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Bee-Bot" » then Click "Install".
- Bee-Bot will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- The Bee Bot App is cute and visually appealing.

☹ Cons:

- The app needs serious revision.

- Programming the Bee Bot does not display any record of the commands.

- A little coding/programming sentence should be available on the screen to allow students to learn from mistakes.

- Without this feature, the app may be frustrating for students.

- The app does not provide a way for students to debug their program using the cards.

Bee Bot App Needs Work

The Bee Bot App is cute but needs serious revision. It's almost usable for our K & 1 classes. Unfortunately, when programming the Bee Bot, no record of the commands is displayed anywhere. A little coding / programming sentence should be available on the screen, like the ones in Lightbot and Tynker. This will allow students to adapt and learn from mistakes. Otherwise, the app will likely be an exercise in frustration.
Should reflect the Bee-bot robots.

I have taught using the Bee-bot robot and now want to use this app with my students. They are already used to debugging their program using the cards. By having the program they create show on the screen they could do the same.
Need to be updated for iOS 13 please.
