Install MidiPatterns app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MidiPatterns"

Worthless

All exported midi clips are empty. I have tried to publish a review of this app since purchasing, but Apple has not published any of those I have witten.

No Audio

The abilities of this app seem amazing, but I am unable to receive any sound when using this product. The sound on my computer works, but the audio from the application doesn't. Bummer.

Great with my V-Drums for prep of sampled drum loops

USAGE- I'm a drummer and use this app in my home studio to help prepare sampled drum loops that I later trigger during live performance.
GEAR- MacBook Air and iMac (running this app), Roland V-Drums (TD-20 module), Roland SPD-SX Sampling Pad
PROCESS- Construct this app drum loop pattern > send midi to Roland V-Drum module and make final instrument/sound selections > revisit MidiPattern to tweak modulation (dynamics) for non-mechanical sounding loops and add/subtract instruments > finalize V-Drum effects processing and drum parameters > use sampler to capture the V-Drum output (driven by this app)
Although I could play my V-Drum pads and record/capture midi within the V-Drum module, this software makes my process much EASIER. Specifically, it saves me time from having to re-record a performance if I'm unhappy with the dynamics or want to add/subtract things within the loop. Additionally, it is very easy to mute/solo a specific instrument, which is particularly helpful for the process of dialing in effects processing within the V-Drum module. All in all, this software has saved me a TON of time and I was very happy to find it!
In summary, I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY with this easy to use and relatively inexpensive software... a true bargain!

Great Program, Easy To Use and Very Intuitive!

I was able to make a really nice track and imported into my Gdeck 30. I did have an error when saving my work in the app. Somehow now it saves my work fine. This program does NOT produce it's own sound! it is a midi sequencer for a midi module or hardware midi equipment. I use it with my Gdeck 30 and I can select the sounds I like from the Gdeck and make the midi song to import into it. GREAT App.
