Brings equations alive!
By iffish (Pcmac user)
I've been looking for a good app to help introduce my daughter to algebra -- visually. This one is simple but very elegant! You have 4 slide controls to control the settings of a,b,c,and d for an this app in the form: ax^3+bx^2+cx^x+d. As you move a slider the graph morphs, moves, and twists at the same time. With this you can see every imaginable graph of line, hyperbola, and beyond ... And how the graphs interrelate. You can watch as a slight change in variables affects the graph ... Sometimes subtly and sometimes dramatically! This is quite cool and I thank the author for creating and sharing it!
