1. Geometrix is a software that brings You the joy of geometrical drawing on Macintosh using compasses, a set square and a ruler: You won’t have any graduated rule nor a protractor, everything can be done with these two items.

2. With this software You can draw straight lines or circles using a pencil or a paint brush.

3. When the drawing is finished, You could erase the paper pencil drafts leaving only the brush strokes.

4. Every drawing is a document that can be saved or printed using the classic menu functions.

5. We hope that this software will bring You the same pleasure of drawing with basic geometry tools as it did for us.

6. You will find here some common geometrical exercises but also drawings of religious and philosophical symbols.

Install Geometrix app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Geometrix on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Geometrix"
The search will reveal the Geometrix app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Geometrix is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Geometrix.
Now enjoy Geometrix on PC.

Eh, kind of useless

no scale so it's impossible to know where you are (exactlly halfway? exactly at an intersection?") which is pretty much essential for creating anything accurately. Since placement of the straigt-edge or compass must be dead on to work for anything interesting, this app is too frustrating to bother with. Not especially intuitive and I draw a lot of complex geometry for fun and profit.

This app is exactly what it claims to be: A compass and straightedge. If you buy it expecting more, you'll be disappointed. It's very entertaining. It took me only a few minutes to make the Yin Yang symbol.
Frustrating

If you could make the "circle in the square" more user friendly and not always starting at the top and only going one way to make arcs and make the help more in-depth, it wuld be sooo much better.
Not Very Good. Useless!!

Just bought this. Wanted to use it to teach my kids Euclid's Elements. Like other reviewers have noted it is very difficult to edit (delete and modify stuff). No instructions.
