Install Everio sync. app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Everio sync. on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Everio sync."
- The search will reveal the Everio sync. app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Everio sync. is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Everio sync..
- Now enjoy Everio sync. on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Everio sync.,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Everio sync." » then Click "Install".
- Everio sync. will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Does NOT work on iPhone X - iOS 11

The this app only works up until iOS 10.3.3 on the iPhone 5. Beware this app STOPS working on iOS 11 or later. The developer of this app states it's "compatible with iOS version 4.3 or later" which falsely states it would work on all the latest versions of iOS. The support team is vague on helping legacy users move to new iPhone devices that have the latest iOS version. The app hasn't been updated in ages. Error message states on iOS 11 or later: "this app." Needs To Be Updated. - This app needs to be updated by the developer to work on this version of iOS.
Please fix this issue by updating your app for legacy users!

Thank goodness for the previous unrelenting & persistent reviewers who dedicated the time to figuring out what the problem was with io6! I was pretty frustrated at spending extra $ for a wi-if JVC that wouldn't work. Could have spent less on a regular JVC. Applied the fixes, and now it's good to go and totally worth the extra $! Thank you!

I was also having a hard time with this app not working until I followed the other reviewer's advice. Now the direct monitoring option works great! I can even cross the baby monitor off my registry. What an awesome purchase!

Just bought over the weekend and wanted to use via wifi with iPhone but it appears that JVC need to upgrade soonest to iO6
