Unique game
By Marti-Hiiku (Pcmac user)
I rarely play video games, but was drawn in by its art style and I had heard great things about it from my friends who played it on the Xbox360. So I bought it as a hesitant whim as a way to pass time, unsure of whether or not I could understand any of the puzzles without help. I thought it would take a toll on my MacBook Air but the game ran fine, since I only played a few chapters at a time.
I'm surprised the game has an excellent soundtrack that matches its art. Definitely best to hear with earphones on while sitting in a dark room.
I really enjoyed the simplicity of the gameplay: easy to learn and nothing too confusing to remember. I thought the puzzles would become more dull and repetitive, but I was astonished by how wrong I was. The puzzle designs suitably reflected the atmosphere of the game. The lack of text for the story allowed me to draw my own thoughts of how each puzzle fit into the game's story description. I think the playing time is enough for it to be considered a reasonably priced game.

So deep and immersive.
By Freedozzz (Pcmac user)
This game is definitely a keeper. I don't write reviews very often about games but I am now. This game seriously deserves it. This puzzle game is easily the most amazing one of it's kind. It's extremely simple in controls and aspect but relatively challenging in applying to the numerous puzzles scattered in the plains of this app. The ambience is dark and ominous and you never know when a trap might be sprung on our young hero. The graphics can sometimes lag but that can be easily fixed as restarting the app and getting back into your game takes less than 30 seconds. :) After completing this game, the ending (and overal storyline) is very open to interpretation which makes this game different for many people. This puzzle will have you gripping your seat at times and stumped on tough puzzles at others. Such a compelling game that I don't have enough words to describe. Thanks for the marvelous game guys. I really hope to see more games of this high calliber soon. :)

Top-Notch game for a low price
By SamuelRD (Pcmac user)
This game is well worth the ten bucks I paid for it. I usually don't like puzzle games, but this is an amazing exception! The puzzles aren't easy, but not frustratingly hard either. Right from the start, the game is a mysterious, creepy, and sometimes frightening experience. No explanations are given, and none are needed. While the puzzles are fun, the beauty in the game is the atmosphere. The slightly creepy music, the giant spider that's trying to kill you, maggots inside peoples' heads, and more delicious macabre details all make it a great experience. It is obvious that Arnt Jensen is a perfectionist, and has pored over every little aspect of his game.
If you are looking for a good game for a low price, buy this game. Some may say that the game is too short, but for ten dollars it is well worth the experience.

Solid Puzzle Game
By ipanacea (Pcmac user)
This is a nice addition to the puzzle genre, however a little more effort on the developers end would go a long way to making the buyers feel more appreciated. For one, give people an explanation of the game. The half-fast effort and one line "Uncertain of his sister's fate…" is pretty conceited. Many people reading this won't have a clue or the inclination to purchase because it's too vague.
Now, the graphics are excellent. I think it could be improved if it was zoomed in some, for a lot of that attention to detail is lost because the view is too far out. The sound effects are equally impressive and go a long way to make this game stand out from other puzzle games. These two points make it an exceptional addition to the style of game, however it is not for the beginning puzzler.
There is no explanation for how to play or what the objectives are or what you are to do. If you get stuck on a puzzle, well, there goes your $10 because you're simply screwed. I think if the developers improved on these areas to help those that are intrigued, they'd get more people buying the game and more consistent 4-5 star reviews.
Buying advice – if you're an experienced puzzle player, then you'll enjoy this game a great deal. If you're new to the genre then you might be better off picking up say Trine, Trine 2 or some of the other puzzle games that get your mind thinking outside the box and have some "hints" along the way to keep you moving.
