Install pinyin app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using pinyin on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "pinyin"
The search will reveal the pinyin app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once pinyin is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including pinyin.
Now enjoy pinyin on PC.

Does what it says, does it well.

This is a great study aid for learning beginning Chinese. Simple and clean and doesn't get in the way of itself. I had a couple of minor feature requests for the developer - the ability to increase the font size of the input characters, and the ability to step through the pronunciation - and the developer was very responsive. Hopefully they will make it into an upcoming update.
Highly recommend it!

Very straightforward, stable, and easy to use. Much more powerful than any of the online solutions for converting characters to this app. Definitely worth the $2 if you are going to convert a lot of characters to this app. Also, the developer responded to my technical problem very quickly. This app is a great way to practice reading and pronunciation, especially with mastering the different tones.
I am very happy!

This app does exactly what I need it to do. I hope the developer comes out with one for Japanese, Korean and Russian. That would be great.

The app certainly helps me to save some time, but it needs some slight adjustments. Everytime I change to another app, it disappears. Then it also does not group the this app together when it is an actual word, so must go through and do it manually for real purty this app. I would give it a five it fixed aforementioned problems.
