Saves real estate on my desk
By John & Scott (Pcmac user)
I purchased this app as a replacement for my ancient behemoth printing calculator. Loved the old calculator, just not all the space that it took up on my desk.
this app meets many but not all of my requirements. Overall I love it. It does take a little getting used to. I do wish that it had some memory options and that it would configure to 2 decimals without having to add ā00ā or a period.
For $10, how can you go wrong?

Love the tape, but could be a bit handier
By bunnydeath (Pcmac user)
This is, by far my favorite calculator app. The tape feature is seriously handy.
However, I have to be honest. I only noticed the problem others are having with editing numbers after reading other reviews just now and then trying it myself. Doesnāt seem to work. It would be nice to be able to edit a number in a long series without having to re-enter all the numbers. I was going to give it 5-stars. But for this issue not working, I can only give it 4.
Itās still well worth the priceāat least for me.

Excellent
By startuptechie (Pcmac user)
I'm a former CPA and used a 10 key calculator all day almost every day before desktop computers took over most work. There is nothing I want different with this calculator. No suggested improvements. I'm never frustrated with it.

PLEASE BRING BACK SKEUMORPHISM
By jamesblond (Pcmac user)
I have terribly vision, so I just want a simple calculator that allows me to see it. This one had high ratings for design, so I gave it a look.
What did I get? ONE. MORE. BIG. WHITE. BLOB.
Can someone tell me what the hell was so wrong with apps that looked like objects? That you could distinguish from other apps that looked like objects? My whole screen is covered with fields of white that are basically indistuishable from each other. WHY? WHAT IS THE UPSIDE OF THIS???? Whatever linear clutter this old approach had is nothing compared to the confusion that snowamorphism (or whatever you want to call this blizzard of design) has wrought.
