  • One of my favorite apps

    By everkleer (Pcmac user)

This is awesome and very simple, basically it just turns your Mac into a bluetooth keyboard when you activate the app. Of course it's designed for iOS but I think it should work with any device that can use a BT keyboard. (I just did a quick test on my Fire TV and it works on there.) Once you set up the initial BT connection, this will easily and quickly disconnect and reconnect the keyboard whenever you launch the app and/or move it to/from the background. This also supports multiple devices - just select the one you want it connected to from a dropdown. And for people that have issues with this app, remember it is JUST a BT keyboard. It can't do anything on your phone that a standalone keyboard couldn't do. Of course the advantage of this is that no app needs to be installed on the phone so it should work seamlessly no matter what version of iOS or what type of device you're using.
  • Works great, but sometimes won't "let go" of the connection

I use this app every day, and after upgrading to Mojave, I reported a bug that caused the app to stop working completely. The developers submitted a fix within 4 days, and now it's working again. I wish all developers would respond that quickly. ************ Update: The latest version (3.1.2) has a bug. When I switch away from the app on my iMac, the Bluetooth trackpad becomes unresponsive for up to 30 seconds unless I quit the app. It is severing the trackpad's connection because not only does the pointer not move, the haptic "click" is gone, too. ************* Update: I am lowering my rating to just one star. The current version of this app disrupts all of my Bluetooth connections when I switch away from it to a different app. Even when I quit the app, Bluetooth is disrupted, especially with my magic trackpad 2, until I turn off the trackpad and then back on.
  • HORRIBLE JUNK!

    By mister zed (Pcmac user)

It's not just the ugly & clunky UI that I hate. This app FORCIBLY closes the keyboard on your phone whenever you connect. This creates an unbelievably bad user experience, because it causes problems with some apps (where the are where your text goes gets hidden too) and where you can't just pick up your phone and type if you want to. It's also really bad if you switch languages, because you have to switch in this app AND in the keyboard on the phone. You can't do that if the keyboard is hidden. And why doesn't the app do that for you? If I switch to the Portuguese/Brazilian keyboard in the app, can't you at least give me the option of switching automatically to the same keyboard on the phone? There are lots of little problems with this, but those above are the worst, and they bite me every time I use it.
  • Top Notch

    By iByron (Pcmac user)

Bought this solely because it was on sale some time ago. Tonight, I had cause to finally use it and it worked like a charm. Set up was easy (some issues with my Bluetooth, but unrelated to the app), and using it was as natural as can be. The display is just what you need: enough information about what you’re doing and what is being transmitted, but no useless bells and whistles. Does what it says = 3-star Does what it says well = 4-star Goes beyond what it says to provide a great overall UE = 5-star
