$$$ Lacking registers, modules and functions.

The app was expensive ($ 4.99) yet provided only bare-bones functionality of the original HP-41 calculator. It comes with no RAM extensions for programming, so allows only 49 program registers, rather than the attainable space of 319 registers. Extended function modules are entirely unavailable, such as 'TIME 2C', 'CX TIME', 'ADV CONV A', 'ADV MTRX', 'ADV MATH', EXT FCN 2D', 'CX EXT FCN', etc. A minor flaw is the calculator image, which makes no attempt to look like the original. For aficionados, this is yet another drawback. I ended up deleting the app the same day I purchased it and have been happily using the 'iHP-41CX' app instead, which is available from the Apple App Store.

Just found/downloaded this, so I haven't used it much yet, but I'm so happy to have this as a backup for when my real HP41 finally implodes. Also for the many times I don't have it with me and wish I did. Too bad my Advantage Pack won't work with this. RPN Rules!

Finally!! Love this app. I've used the hp41 since it was first introduced. Love reverse polish notation. Glad it's now available for my phone!

I am very impressed with the functionality. I entered in some of my old programs, and all worked great. The button graphics hurt my eyes a little, could be better if the graphics were more like the HP (12?) calculator app. Otherwise, this saved me from having to repair my 41cv!
