What is EASe Listening Therapy? The EASe Listening Therapy app is designed for children with autism and other sensory processing disorders to help them cope with typical environmental conditions. It uses music to deliver short, intense bursts of sound, creating a sensory palette of sonic experiences. The app has three modes: No subscription, Legacy, Guided, and Pro. The Pro subscription is geared towards therapists. The app was developed by Audioforge Labs and Vision Play, LLC, in cooperation with Vision Audio Inc.
1. The EASe Listening Therapy app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad was developed for children with autism and other sensory processing disorders (SPD), who often respond to noise with exaggerated reactions and behavioral or learning issues.
2. The EASe app for iPhone, iPod, Touch and iPad was developed by Audioforge Labs and Vision Play, LLC, in cooperation with Vision Audio Inc., creators of the popular EASe listening therapy CDs and video games for children on the autism spectrum.
3. EASe Listening Therapy uses music to deliver short, intense bursts of sound, creating a sensory palette of sonic experiences that can help a child learn to cope with typical environmental conditions.
4. Many thousands of children with autism and other SPD disorders have benefitted from using EASe music CDs.
5. EASe was studied by researchers at Brenau university in 2012 and found effective in reducing auditory hypersensitivity in children with sensory processing disorder.
6. And Pro allows you to email your own settings to other users of EASe (They do not need a pro subscription to use those settings).
7. If you choose to purchase a Legacy, Guided or Pro subscription, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
