Install NWPB app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using NWPB on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "NWPB"
The search will reveal the NWPB app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once NWPB is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including NWPB.
Now enjoy NWPB on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use NWPB,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "NWPB" » then Click "Install".
- NWPB will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Works as expected. Sound levels are off. Constantly having to turn down for some voices and most music bites then back up again to hear. I have noticed this on the FM station as well.

Great station to listen to when the app works. While listening to classical music the app will cut out. When it comes back on it has changed to news. It will also change the sleep setting to 30 minutes when I had it set for 2 hrs. And it changes the alarm time to whatever the actual time is when it comes back on. Therefore my alarm is not set to the right time for in the morning. I started by giving 3 stars. Reduced to 1 after it did the same thing 3 times in one night.

I have to use this app since the NPR app won’t stream my local stations anymore. (Apparently the streams are not secure?? Whatever that means.) This app is ok, it’s pretty, easy to start playing, but it’s really annoying that it doesn’t respond to the control center in iOS 11. So I can’t swipe up and turn it off. I have to turn the volume down until I can unlock my phone, page two, find the app and open. I assume this is s compatibility issue with the new iOS.
Great way to listen when not near radio

I like the app. I can listen to the rest of the story when I leave my car. Don’t miss anything. I can listen outside streaming it through a Bluetooth speaker while gardening. It plays my station. It’s radio on the go.
