  • Progressively bad

    By AdamZabo (Pcmac user)

This used to be a great app. I used to watch European tour events especially because the coverage was so much better, with British announcers, minimum advertisements. It was great. Now they are starting golfpass. Mysteriously the normal coverage of the event crashes even though I’m signed in with tv provider. All the while they advertised free 7 week trial for golfpass. I did it. I canceled the reoccurring charges immediately because I hate accidentally paying them. They (probably purposefully) made it so the only way to cancel your reoccurring payments was by calling in. Which is ridiculous, stop wasting my time. So I called. They cancelled it but they also removed my free trial so I didn’t in the end get free trial. Which is probably illegal since they advertised free trial. Anyway, you can tell that they are trying to pinch everyone for as much as they can get. The amount of advertisement is ridiculous. It’s annoying and transparent and makes me dislike watching the app, even though it’s one of fav things. Thanks a lot this app app. 2 stars not 1 because you used to be 4 star. If you want me to pay a monthly membership, make it cheaper and be transparent, don’t try to get me in and make canceling a whole ordeal. This scam business model prevalent nowadays is the worst
  • New app version

    By kkredhead (Pcmac user)

Some of the changes are fine but please bring back the option to mark favorites in the scoring section. Also on the players scorecard, bring back circling birdies, double circles for eagles, squares for bogies, etc. not everyone can read the small print and this helps. What is the -3 symbol for scores supposed to mean?
  • Cmon Golf Channel

    By (-Oak-) (Pcmac user)

You can do better. Other than checking scores I haven’t jumped into this app for much else in a long time. It used to be smooth and made sense. So why the plummeting reviews. It’s just a this app app for articles, videos and scores right? They have limitless resources to give you the best app possible right? No really that’s a question that needs answering. Videos rarely load upon start up then Just wanted to read some articles. Opened one. Read it and tried to watch a video in the article. That was painstakingly ridiculous. The video was clunky and couldn’t be controlled. No landscape? Really? Climbed out of that mess to read the next article and had to scroll back down to where I had left off. So you get air lifted to the top of the whole building every time? Why is simplicity lost update after update? Keep the simple things simple.
  • Terrible update

    By Lawman299 (Pcmac user)

I have never written an app review before, but after years of using the this app app with only one complaint (more on that in the next paragraph), I feel compelled to say that your latest upgrade is one of the worst upgrades to any app I have ever used. The fonts are so small that text can barely be seen and so gray that text can hardly be distinguished from the background. There's way too much white space between names and scores and between one name and the next, so you can't gather in a lot of information all at once, and there's no box or line (just the faint word "Leaderboard" separating favorite players from the full field scores. My one consistent complaint is the backseat that the LPGA takes in the "Tournaments this Week" list and, usually, in the "News" section. Disappointing.
