I am an educational technology specialist, and this app HD is, hands down, the finest app for publishing animated versions of student work. Students can take photos of their own drawings and record their voices as their pictures move around the screen. It's great for biographies, facts and virtually any project may have been a poster, paper or presentation once upon a time. This one is absolutely essential for all educators. It's easy to use and super intuitive to use... even for year olds.

Bought this on a whim to entertain my kids on a road trip. Wasn't expecting much based on reviews ... what a pleasant surprise to find out just how fun it was --- not just for the kids, but for the grown ups too! I have no other apps like this to compare it to, but it kept everyone entertained. Being able to add our own "characters" from photos made it more personal and just added to the fun. Honestly don't know who enjoyed the silliness more --- the kids or mom & dad.
I use this in my learning support classroom.

This is a wonderful App to teach children about plot and structure of a story. I teach special education/ESL and this app inspires my students to write their own stories and plays. They publish their stories on line to share with their parents (parents often place them on their facebook pages and share with friends and family). It is certainly one of the best apps I have come to use with my students.
