Excellent app

Among all the paid apps this was the only one which was free so i tried it out. The turn by turn navigation works perfectly without data connection or wifi. We used the app in walking mode and walked around Madrid without needing any sort of paper map. The app guided us with turn by turn navigation throughout. The only little thing is that the built search is not so great. You have to remember the exact name of places in order to start routing. It also does not know names of shops so you have to enter a landmark next to them. But i cant complain, all in all an excellent helpful app. Highly recommended for offline navigation

Used for Spain road trip from Madrid to San Sebastian to Barcelona. Used an Ipad 2 wifi and 3G model. Unit was used online only for the purpose of searching for and storing destinations under favorites. Unit used offline for navigation. For route indicated, within and outside of the cities, voice and visual guidance were accurate and timely. Possible improvement area would be greater visual detail at directional interchanges. These are the areas where many roads meet at varying elevations. I could work out the direction to take but better detail would result in higher end user comfort. Excellent value rating as its a fully functioning gps free of charge
An excellent money-saving app!

I recently used the app to drive all around Spain for nearly a month - and for the first time, I didn't have a huge roaming data bill. Directions were accurate, voice guidance was excellent and intelligible, and the app did everything it said it would. Sometimes it was necessary to enter an address rather than a business name, but that really wasn't a big problem. The program got me in and out of tiny villages in the mountains. Highly recommended.
