Install iSoftPhone - VoIP calls app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »

Promises, promises

After I purchased this app many years ago, I'd contacted the developer because the application was not accessible for the blind and visually impaired. I'd received an encouraging response leading me to think they would fix accessibility. A number of years has past, and every update becomes an additional frustration. No accessibility fixes whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, I know when to inquire whether accessibility could be improved or not. I wouldn't do it for a graphical app like a game or a photo app, or anything that requires too much visual tech in their user experience. In this case, however, it's just purely coded. The app is a phone. It's one of the very few Softphone apps that is not accessible. There isn't a single constraint I can think about that could make it challenging to label buttons, structure the user flow with a screen reader, and put alt tags on images or progress bars. It's poorly developed, and it doesn't support the Opus codec. I'm hanging up my hat, and wishing you good luck.

In June 2017, my estate planning practice moved to a new office, and we switched to a voip carrier. At the same time we disposed of all our physical telephones and purchased Sennheiser PC 7 headsets and this app to use with the headsets. Set up was extremely easy: 1)download the software, 2)buy licenses, 3)click on the phone icon to open it, 4)go to the preferences pane and enter our voip server address, extension number, password and display name (for caller ID) and 5)fill in the obvious pref settings for audio input and output and blam, you’re in business. We’re currently using Digium Cloud, but previously used 8x8 and Ring Central and the this app worked perfectly with all of them. Using v 4.1.5. It works flawlessly in an all Macintosh environment.
Doesn't work well with Twilio

I managed to set up Twilio, but the calls cut all the time. For me it was impossible to make a normal call, but the biggest problem is that I can't talk to the developer.

I’m a huge fan of Twilio and have been using them for a number of years for custom software. Generally, I’m a deskphone kinda of person, just old school I guess but I’ve come to have a need for more portabilty when I’m moving abou the house. I’ve used Twilio trunking for a while but never got around to SIP Registration. Awesome! Going to be using this a lot! Going to have to setup my wife for her business on this. Great stuff.
