Top Pcmac Reviews

  • Impressive and helpful

    By AikidoPilgrim (Pcmac user)

Kessler Sensei has combined a smart and simple interface with an impressive collection of video clips featuring very cleanly demonstrated Aikido techniques. The multiple views of each technique available on the iPad are particularly useful, and I can imagine this app becoming the best possible off-mat way for students - particularly those who struggle to link each technique's Japanese name and the correct movements together in their heads - to prepare for tests and review material. Not a replacement for actual training of course, but a great supplement, and also a potentially compelling teaching aid when all six planned chapters are assembled together.
  • Intermediate 1 from Miles Kessler Sensei

    By DanielR, NYC (Pcmac user)

An excellent resource with great potential. Miles Kessler Sensei demonstrates techniques in a very clear and precise manner, and his assistants demonstrate the ukemi just as clearly and precisely. I found the slow motion and close-up views particularly helpful. Looking forward to future developments!
  • Useful Aikido Reference

    By Birudou (Pcmac user)

Got the basic app, and it was an interesting reference tool that opens the iPads potential as a martial arts manual...and you cant beat the price. Good into, would like to see more realistic attacks, maybe some munetsuki (has anyone bought the paid apps, do they include more attacks? Weapons techniques or defenses.) Am seriously thinking of purchasing the additional apps.
  • Excellent app for Aikidokas

    By Can San (Pcmac user)

If you need to look up a basic Aikido technique, this app is an excellent tool. You can look up attacks and techniques. Not all combinations covered (yet?).
