VERY BASIC!

This app is so basic, as it has preset configurations that simply ask you to drag and drop the circuit element into the empty spot. There is NO ability to create circuits nor make measurements of voltage, current, or resistance. It does have some nice descriptions, and allows the user to make the connection between the real-world objects and the circuit diagram on the board, however this is suitable for elementary school kids. I am a high school physics teacher and was hoping for MUCH more functionality, and if this is what you are also looking for, save your $1!

An awesome app for the kids to improve their creative skills by themselves

Likewise in the the app bulbs in series, the sister app provided by the same company, the app let user to explore the pathway mechanism of this app circuits in a very constructive, creative and safe way. In addition, it promotes investigation and inquiry skills, the keys factors in STEAM classrooms. It is an awesome app for the kids to improve their creative skills by themselves.
I hope that we’ll see more of such high quality apps in education from adaptive curriculum.

Fun for the whole family

I was looking for something educational on electricity after my family watched a Bill Nye video on electricity. This app allows you to do just about the same thing that Bill Nye was showing us in one part of the video. My daughter loved the fact that she could actually do what Bill Nye did in the video. In fact, it even helped me understand better what Bill Nye was talking about.
