2. Use the four calculation buttons (add, subtract, divide and multiply) to select the type of action.

4. Along the way the App explains about the Least Common Denominator, proper and improper fractions, simplifying fractions and other general concepts.

5. If the calculation at the top shows a question mark ('?') this means you have changed a value and need to press one of the four calculation buttons.

6. Not only does it calculate the answers for you it also comprehensively explains how the answer was arrived at.

7. Just type in the fraction values into the fields at the top and select whether each fraction is positive or negative.

8. When the answer is calculated it is shown in the answers box and also in the table below.
