Install Grungetastic app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Grungetastic on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Grungetastic"
The search will reveal the Grungetastic app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Grungetastic is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Grungetastic.
Now enjoy Grungetastic on PC.

One trick pony that's great at what it does

If you're looking for a fast easy way to give a distinctive look to some of your photos, and the look that you want is a "grungy" look, this is a great app for you. Mind you, all of JixiPix's software fall into the one trick pony category in that they all have a certain style in which they modify your photos and that's it (albeit a different style for each app). That's not to say that there isn't a ton of easily accessible user variation in what can be done in each app, but the variation is all confined within the parameters of whatever style that particular app is geared towards. Fortunately the makers of this software have maintained a similar interface across the board so it's easy to go from one app to the next. I've had several of their apps for around 9 months and while I don't use them on the majority of my photos, they're all definitely in the "Special FX" category not everyday enhancements, I have been extremely happy with the results when I have used them.
A terrific app that is easy to use.

I am a big fan of this simple but clever app for adding noise and effects to your pictures. Does anyone know how to create a preset for the frames and borders only? I was able to do it in the older version, but not with the recent update.
Clearly the best app for getting dirty!

I love this app. (and all of the other JixiPix apps too!) It takes no time at all to get hang of using and tweaking the different styles. the UI is fantastic, and the randomizer always produces amazing effect combinations. Every photo I have put through this app so far has come out looking awesome! My only request for this app is that I would like to have the option of buying the extra sets of grunge presets/styles that are available on my iPod Touch. It's my own fault for expecting them to be there before visiting the website, which clearly states that they are working on it. :) With those extra styles, the creative possibilities of this app would extend beyond the already limitless possibilities! Three cheers to the Developers! I am finding myself clicking on my JixiPix Mac apps before my (much) more expensive photo editing software now!
was searching for something like pictureshow

Since pictureshow was not available on the mac i searched for something similar. This is as close as i could find. The randomizer effects everything to drastically but if you go in and tweak everything manually then you can really get creative. It does not have a crop feature or a brightness contrast feature that i have found yet. hopefully just like iphone apps they will update this. specially since it was about 5 times more expensive. there are plenty of grunge effects and luckily you can tweak them. looking forward to a hopefull update with some more photo tweaking abilities. trying to avoid leangthy times on photoshop when i can get great effects on my iphone with picturshow. Hoping to not have to send images to my phone then back to my imac.
