Install Vintage Scene app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Once Vintage Scene is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Vintage Scene.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Vintage Scene,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Vintage Scene" » then Click "Install".
- Vintage Scene will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Unbelievable!

What can I say...I was a little leery d/ling this at first because I wasn't impressed by the example photos. But, after taking the plunge I wish someone would make a plug-in like this for photoshop. This app makes making the app photos as easy as it possibly could be (which is a little scary). The simplicity of the interface is a pleasure to use. Now, anyone can create these types of photos for a price that's truly a no-brainer. If you like creating the app photographs, but don't have hours of free time to spend in photoshop or other complex programs, then this app is for you. And, if you are a photoshop enthusiast that just wants a simple, cheap, and amazing tool in your arsenal, then this app is for you as well. Great app!

Was a little disappointed that all this application does is place a semi-trasparent "aged glaze" over the photo you use as the source. It looks a bit strange when you choose an "aged look" that is textured (crumpled paper, wrinkled, torn, etc) and the paper appears that way, but the image is still flat and smooth and all lines remain straight on that textured background when in the real world the image would distort as well. It would be better if the image was mapped to the texture and not just a coloration placed on top of the image. The application is also missing standard menu commands such as COPY, CUT, PASTE, and UNDO. There is also a "Preferences..." choice in the menu that is not selectable. Application seems to stray from Apple's HUI standards. A bit surprised that on that level it made it into the store. That said, it does have a lot of flexibility and choices in creating your own "looks" and saving them.
Canvas size

I just downloaded this app so maybe I'm missing it, but is there a 'Canvas Size' feature where I can specify a smaller image on larger paper and have it 'age' the entire canvas? As I see it now it outputs images the same size as the original which, in my example, would mean an image with plain white blank paper around it. For those of you on the fence deciding whether you should buy the app, go to their website, download the demo and play with that to get an idea of what it does. I did and 5 minutes later I bought the app. I give it 4 stars, because there's always room for improvement, otherwise it would get a perfect score.
Intuitive, simple, yet allows a lot of control

Downloaded a free trial of this app on the publisher's website (you can't save files in the trial version), ten minutes later I had to buy the app -- very intuitive. Unlike the iPhone and iPad versions of this app, your manual adjusments are made to the picture in real-time! A great product that gives you more creative options to post pictures to your blog or Facebook, ect. If are hesitant to purchase like I was, download the free trial and you will probably buy the product.
