Clean and Simple
By Enrique Robideaux (Pcmac user)
This is a nice little app that does what it advertises: it displays a simple calculator with a single click. It hovers over other work, can be easily dragged around on the screen and lets you work back and forth between it and any other app. The result in the display can be copied and pasted into any other app. The result persists if you hide the calculator and click to make it reappear. I have not experienced the issues with rounding noted in other reviews, but I don't put it through that much number crunching.
It would be handy to have an extended calculator for some functions, including memory, pi, log, etc. If those features are added, I hope the simplicity of the initial UI is retained with a button to show the extended controls as an option. For my basic addition of dollar amounts or calculations of percentages, it's perfect!

Doesn't work in Menu Bar / No Memory Features
By Ronmarlowe (Pcmac user)
The primary reason I wanted this was so that it was always in the Menu Bar. The photo of the product shows it coming out of the menu bar. The text describes it in that format. Maybe it worked that way with an earlier version of OS X, but it does not seem to do so now. No option to put it in the menu bar. No .menu file. It does, however, include an auto launch and dock setting, but my dock is already quite crowded, and I don't want something like a utility taking up valuable space on my dock.
The failure to have basic memory functions (M+ M- MC MR) is nearly unforgiveable. I should have noticed this in the photo and prior reviews. These are considered essential (and basic) calculator functions.
I'm going to have to find another product -- this one just won't work.

Disappointed it has no memory
By Pentium Paul (Pcmac user)
I guess it's my bad that I didn't check to see if it has memory before buying...it doesn't....I often need to subtract two products and that requires memory...I suppose I just assumed all the app calculators had memory plus, memory minus and memory recall. Lesson: don't assume.
