Great way to get "Breaking News"

I'm not always in front of my TV, and Radio may help with weather alerts, but it truly makes a difference in which Radio Station you are listening to.
It seems as if the TV Networks/ Stations are partenered with each of the separate Radio Station Groups.
So the information you hear are reporting from different areas of the viewing/listening audience.
For example Channel 6 ABC- tends to cover Killen, Temple, Belton area News,Weather.
Where the app Channel 10's App. And Breaking News and Weather Alerts are concerning Central Texas and are in real time exactly where I live in a 60 mile radius and the Breaking News begins with where I live and then extends out further to other Central Texas areas. Channel 10- is the best way I can get the information I need on my phone locally, nationally, and news that is important that I need to know. I use my App for Channel 10 every day multiple times a day.
It's the only news I trust, and my friends also use their App. as well.

This app crashes more than any other app on my phone.

I really want to like this app. I love the app and enjoy using them as a source for getting the news. Unfortunately, almost EVERY time I open it and click on the news column- it completely crashes. This has happened for the past year. It works but will suddenly crash during one of the stories. For the past 2 months it doesn’t even let me open stories before crashing.
Lastly, the ads at the beginning of starting the app are ridiculous. The 1.5 minute long cartoon game ads are infuriating. I’ll close the app and not even use it if I have to sit through that junk. Local advertising is one thing, but internet junk sales is lame.
Please fix!!!!

App crashes and ads

This app crashes more frequently than any other application installed on any of my devices. Once I receive a notification, and I open the app to see the article(s), it may crash initially and it will crash repeatedly as I scroll through the pages. It also crashes when I delete a single notification, but not when I clear notifications.
Also, advertisements fill the center of the screen, blocking text from view.
It is still an asset to me, although it doesn’t perform or function adequately.

Too many crashes

Open the app and it crashes, check the weather and it crashes. App devs please look into this, already deleted app and reinstalled it but seems worse now.
I also agree with another user, enough with the Killeen/Temple news. At the very least give us an option to opt out of those locations news stories.
