Software Features and Description

1. It accepts inputs of bullet weight, ballistic coefficient, muzzle velocity, sight height, zero range, wind speed & angle, etc and calculates velocity, energy, flight path, and drift.

2. The default is 50 yard increments out to a range of 1000 yards.

3. It gives them an idea what various cartridges and load recipes will do at the range.

4. Output is displayed in selectable increments out to ranges of 100 to 2000 yards.

5. The information provided is in no way a substitute for actual range time.

6. BulletDrop is a simple external ballistics calculator for iOS.

7. BulletDrop is intended for reloaders and shooters of all varieties.

8. You can change these selections in Settings.

Install BulletDrop app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using BulletDrop on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "BulletDrop"
The search will reveal the BulletDrop app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once BulletDrop is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including BulletDrop.
Now enjoy BulletDrop on PC.

Best ballistic calculator

I have an extensive knowledge in long range shooting from the military and also my current position in LE. This app is right on and is very simple without all the other fancy bells and whistles a person does not need. I would recommend this app to anybody into long range shooting. This app is excellent. The only thing I would like them to add is a yard to meter conversion option when selecting the mills tab!

I use this for .22 lr target shooting out to 200yds. With the correct co-efficient of drag weight of bullet and velocity it is very close I’d say within 1 moa. I wish you could save profiles so you could switch back and forth quickly. Hey it’s free and it works!

I like this app mainly cuz it's basic. You can input data for all the major factors of long range shooting, and it gets you in the ball park if not on a the target at 1,000yards. I download two other similar software that were more "advanced" and did not like them.

A good, basic, straight-forward ballistic calculator. It lacks some of the nitty-gritty stuff offered by others, but that is part of what makes it what it is: simple. Simple to set up, simple to see, simple to use. If you're just starting out in long-range ballistic calculations, this is my top recommendation for an app to get your feet wet, or to just get you a quick down-and-dirty number to use to make a distant shot. If your target is a 16"x16" steel plate at 600 (or even 800) yards, you really won't need any other app! If you decide you want to start shooting clays at 600 yards, then you might want to consider one of the more involved (and more expensive) apps.
