Game Features and Description

1. Decked Builder aims to be the perfect companion for your Magic the Gathering hobby, taking care of everything related to deck building.

2. This full version of Decked Builder contains the entire Magic card database from Alpha onwards.

3. Use it to find the right card for your deck, together with pricing information so you will never be on the bad end of a trade.

4. I'm currently more a collector than a player but mostly because I haven't played for a while and find it difficult to get a good overview of the game and deck constructing.

5. Find every Landfall card, Elf, Vampire or any other attribute that has ever been printed.

6. - Almost every card available on Gatherer, including online only Masters Edition cards.

7. - Specially format and email the deck to your friends with Apprentice .dec file attachment.

8. Build your deck, analyze it, test it, and finally share it with your friends.

9. - Searches also allow full card text lookup.

10. - Clicking a highlighted card name would immediately pop up it's details in a window.

11. - Easily print a deck registration sheet for any DCI tournament.

  • Does not work as advertised

    By TheRockMan73 (Pcmac user)

I recently downloaded the Deck Builder app along with the camera add on. After installing the app, it is constantly locking up and not performing well at all. The camera function is only recording 2 out of 10 cards, and it has even locked up the computer twice. In theory, the idea of the app is outstanding! However, I am experiencing a lot of issues and would like a full refund for the app and the in app purchase. After spending $20, I would like for the app to work smoothly.
  • Love this group of apps, but...

    By Ginosko (Pcmac user)

After purchasing the iOS apps, I figured I'd buy the Mac one. They are a great group of apps and I was looking forward to the collection portion. As I added to my collection, I was at about 300 cards total when it popped up and said I do not have permission to save the file. I thought it was slightly weird, so I clicked the save button, and it went through. Another 300 cards went by and I tried saving again. No matter what I did, I could no longer save the file. I wound up losing the last 300 entries. I tried exporting to CSV, didn't have permission. Moved to iCloud, didn't work. Tried saving as a different name, did not work. I had installed the lite version before this, and I have an inkling that the permissions may be based off that. Everytime I now try to open my collection file, it opens it in Lite instead of the full version. I'm going to remove Lite and hope that it gets rid of this weird permission issue.
  • STILL the best. Period.

Nov 2013 Review: Card Cam is too good to be true. Amazing job by the this app team on this feature. At 10 bucks the feature is a STEAL! Wonderful app that has it all. One thing: no way to add promo cards of any kind. This is really the only flaw, and it is such a small thing that it doesn't matter. I've used various apps for managing cards and nothing comes close to this. UPDATED REVIEW: This app truly shines on the desktop. So much room to work with. The connections made between the iPad and iPhone apps makes this a truly standout product. Feels like something created by Apple themselves. Purchase the trifecta - it is well worth it. Developer listens to users as well. New sets added and iCloud syncing included. Fantastic sums it up. ORIGINAL REVIEW: After purchasing the iPhone and iPad versions of this app due to it having a very solid desktop app I made the final purchase. M13 and RTR are only added by choosing "this app > Check for Updates…". Simple enough, though it should be noted somewhere to avoid confusion. Needs iCloud syncing.
  • Updated - Works on El Capitan For Me

    By Continual (Pcmac user)

Updated: This app wasn’t working on El Capitan for me but after uninstalling the application and reinstalling it the app is functioning again. I updated the Database and it’s current through Commander 2015 (most recent as of this review) and hasn’t crashed for me. I did not lose any of my data (I store in the cloud). This app is actually quite amazing. I’ve been using it for years, usually on the iPhone the most. The prices are easy to update, the pricing sources are vast and include MTGO prices, the card database is superb and the Collections are a major time saver when I’m looking to build a deck and want to know what I’m missing. The ability to test a deck, get statistics, print DCI lists, import .dec files (and other formats), and have multiple decks/collections open at once really set this app apart. The ease of use and cross-platform use make this my go to app for almost everything. I use MTG Trades and MTG Guide for trades/sales/wish lists and rules details/Gatherer data respectively. I highly recommend this app.
