Download and install the Venue Map for foursquare app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Venue Map on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Venue Map"
- The search will reveal the Venue Map for foursquare app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Venue Map is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Venue Map.
- Now enjoy Venue Map on PC.
- Using Venue Map on Mac OS:
Install Venue Map for foursquare on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.
How to download and use Venue Map App on Windows 11
To get Venue Map on Windows 11, check if there's a native Venue Map Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Venue Map:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Venue Map" » Click "Install" to install Venue Map for foursquare
- Venue Map for foursquare will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Useful, but not perfect

The app makes for a great superuser tool, allowing you to see and edit all the nearby venues on an iPad! However the app automatically switches back to portrait mode when coming back to it, sometimes won't list any venues and grey out the refresh button and is also prone to crashing.
Since there's no competition, this is my editing tool of choice on the iPad, I'm glad it exists!
Ps. a "copy the app ID" option next to the "open in Safari" one, would be divine!

So far...ok

I got this app for one reason only: to be able to check in places when I travel internationally from my iPad WIFI connection (since my iPhone powers down for international travel). I've tested out the the app locator and mobile web check-in option locally but really won't know if I "like it" like it until I travel abroad. It's a little funky to navigate and took a few tries to find venues but I think its average at this point and gets the minor task done effectively.

Will Not Install

This app will not install on my iPhone. I tried to update using the phone and it just sits on the install screen and does not go any furthur. I did an update to iTunes then synced the phone and it still will not up date this app. I then uninstalled from iPhone and iTunes, turned off iPhone and turned back on. Redownloaded the app to iTunes then synced to the iPhone and it did not install. What give. It use to work fine.
I have the latest iTunes, IOS 6 on the iPhone and using iPhone 3GS. Please fix.

Simple and has potential

This app - is Simple and has potential. Bug report: when i click on a the app to view the details and then click done, I am no longer back at my original location. I see a map of the USA instead. I've already been located in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia at the start.
