Broken Software; Lacking adequate Support

Do not waste your money on this application. Choose another. I purchased it to convert AVI files to MP4 files. The video files would convert but would discard all audio. After multiple attempts of changing software configurations and with multiple files, I contacted the the app technical support. After a few days they contacted me back and asked me to change a setting to MP3 within the software. (I had already tried this to no avail.) Even after explicitly following their simple instructions, the results were still the same. No audio. When I replied with what had happened and that I was still having problems, the the app company did not respond. After another lengthy request on my part, their best solution was to have me uninstall and reinstall the software. I did that and still nothing works. (By the way, other video conversion software does the conversion without a problem.) Now they want me to send them one of my videos… so, I guess they don’t believe me. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND OF TIME!
Converts from MJPEG codec – and lets you crop for social media!

I use lots of stock video footage in my projects, which very often comes encoded using the MJPEG codec. Frustatingly, Adobe apps do not support this codec, so I can't import these videos into Premiere or After Effects – I can't even use Adobe Media Encoder to convert them (come on now, Adobe). I confirmed that this app successfully converts MOVs encoded with MJPEG (which Adobe doesn't like) to video files that you can import into Adobe apps! Just drag-and-drop and pick your output format. I'm also a social media manager, and the ability to quickly and easily crop videos for each platform (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, etc.) without firing up Adobe Premiere is a huge plus. This thing is fast!

I purchased this app to take care of file conversion from m4v’s from my iPhone to mov files so I could send them from California to my friend in the U.K. I based my purchase on customer reviews. It converts ANY type of file to ANY type of file. The instructions are super easy to follow: just click what type of file you ultimately want and click “convert”. I was shocked at how fast it works! Our project is a music video/documentary that’s going to be a movie of sorts. I’m also able to convert files from my HD digital camcorder to whatever type I want. Easy, fast and super versatile!

Had a number of files in AVI format from my previous camera. Struggled for 1½ years to convert and import them into my Photo app on my Mac. Just purchased this app and converted all my old AVI files going back 8 years (!) into MOV format in 40 minutes and imported them successfully into Photos. The first 8 years of my daughter's life's videos is now on my Mac. Well worth the price paid even if I should never need the App again. Thanks guys!!!!
