  • Almost Just Right!!

    By Peg1984 (Pcmac user)

I like all the features on this application. What I really don’t like is that it doesn’t work in the background like the alarm clock that comes with my phone. If I have to remember to open the application every night before I go to sleep then I run the risk of forgetting to “Turn On My Alarm.” My anxiety is so high while I sleep because of this. It causes me to have a terrible nights sleep. I’m not sure that using this alarm is worth it. I would use the alarm on my phone but it doesn’t have the fade in feature. I can’t stand being scared awake in the morning. This was the selling point for me choosing this application. At this point I’m not sure which is worse. Being scared awake or having a terrible nights sleep. I would also like the application to override my lock screen with having to program the application to not allow my phone to go into lock. I don’t like having my phone on all night using unnecessary power. I also don’t like the unnecessary light being generated by my phone. I prefer a dark bedroom. It would be better if the application overrode the lock screen when the alarm goes off so all I have to do is put the stop button to shut off the alarm or turn on the snooze. Right now if I don’t tell the application to stay on all night I have to unlock my phone to be able to get to these options.
  • The best alarm clock app

    By Hazeldad (Pcmac user)

I’ve tried at least a dozen alarm clock apps, and this is the one that I have settled on. It is extremely flexible and allows for multiple alarms that can be set for weekdays weekends whatever day you wish, and that is huge. It also has night time snooze, slow wake up, multiple alarm sounds, and weather information if you wish. In my view it is nearly perfect. The one annoyance I have found is that there is no way to select a default alarm. I have one alarm sound that I use all the time, and I like to have fade in over two minutes. If I forget to make these settings when I set a new alarm, it comes on full blast with some sound that is really obnoxious. I would love to see some kind of default or favorite setting that would always apply any time I knew alarm is set. Other than that this app is great.
  • Kinda disappointed

    By Amita4ever (Pcmac user)

In and of itself, it is not a bad app. It does what it is supposed to, but it was trying to replace my Yacto Alarm Clock on my iTouch, which ISO 9 rendered defunct, and it is a poor replacement. Main complaints: •😕• Despite having specific songs from a specific playlist selected, it often reaches out and grabs some random song from my collection - usually louder & rockier than the ones I choose to wake up to making me jump out of my skin. •🤔• The background art I've selected is enlarged so pictures are chopped off and the light/dark ratio is throw off making them too bright. •😡• Trying to adjust the size of the time widget freaks it out, reduces app screen to 3/4 and then it doesn't save the adjustment and has to be reopened to fix the screen. If you want a basic alarm clock that is reasonably easy to use, lets you set multiple alarms with specific parameters (certain days, etc), with a decent selection of preloaded alarm sounds, you'll like this one. It's a 5 star basic alarm app. If you intend to use the advanced features because you are looking for one to replace Yacto Alarm Clock, keep looking.
  • App is useless now

    By Tango Swahili (Pcmac user)

UPDATED UPDATE: Thomas and his team have worked tirelessly to make the app work again despite iOS 11 being difficult to work with. I have use the app reliably now for over a week. I trust this app that wake me up every day and it is amazing. I especially appreciate the feature that makes the app gently increase volume so I am not jarred out of bed. Thank you Thomas. UPDATE: The app still does not work even after the recent bug fix. Exact same issues, alarm does not go off. You receive a text notification that your alarm is “Sounding” but there is no audible alarm. I have tried every conceivable fix... volume control, changing the alarms from music to tone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, resetting my iPhone etc. Bottom line is that this app (which used to be wonderful) absolutely positively does not work with the latest iOS. Unless and until these issues are resolved you will literally be throwing your money away. To be fair, every other alarm app seems to be having the same problems. Clearly Apple isn’t helping the developers of these apps. Not to pile on, but I feel compelled to agree with other users. This was my favorite app for over a year. I used it daily. My only criticism is that you had to have the app in the foreground for it to work, but other than that it was flawless. Since iOS 11 it literally does not work. Do not purchase this app until they have fixed this issue. You will be wasting your money.
