  • Perfect book light for nighttime reading!

    By girlwithLion (Pcmac user)

My husband goes to bed earlier than I do and I love to read before I go to sleep. I’ve been putting off buying a book light for a while and tonight, I suddenly had the idea to see if there might be a book light app in the App Store! I’m so glad I did because this app is perfect. The only thing I don’t like is having to hold my phone the entire time I’m reading (haven’t figured out how best to prop it yet) but the app itself is perfect. You can set the brightness and the color tone so the light is bright enough to read by without being intrusive to someone sleeping next to you. I’m very pleased; well worth the dollar! ;)
  • Exactly what I was looking for

    By Rosemary0440 (Pcmac user)

This does exactly what it says it does, and it does it perfectly. It lets me read in bed without keeping my husband awake. It’s so much better than using the flashlight on my phone since it doesn’t light up the whole room. The the app yellow glow is also way more comfortable to read by compared with the harsh, narrow beam of the flashlight.
  • Perfect book light!!!

    By Novelist12 (Pcmac user)

I was on my way to purchase a book light but decided to see if there was an app and to my surprise there was one. I was skeptical at first because I didn’t want to hold my phone while reading but I decided to go for it and that was the best decision. I just lay my phone on my chest, problem solved. I’m glad I purchased!!!
  • Just okay

    By saramariemara (Pcmac user)

Would be nice if you could further adjust the brightness within the app to make it even dimmer beyond the iphone’s settings. Also, would be nice to have a wider color spectrum. Red light is best for not disturbing sleep patterns- could you consider adding red, rather than just yellow/orange? In general, disappointed I spent money on this. I assumed there would be a wider color spectrum; that wasn’t well explained.
