  • Bus map

By This is my name @9933 (Pcmac user)

This app is crappy. The idea of how’s it supposed to work is great. But is hardly ever right. The bus thing is always not what the bus says it is. Or it says it far away when it’s right In front of you. Or it will say there is a bus and you wait 45 minutes and nothing shows up. Bad app.
  • Surely a pleasant surprise

When I came to Mizzou, the this app application definitely helped me out in getting used to my surroundings. My one gripe with the map search is that searches for auditorium names are non existent, so you'll have to remember the building name before looking it up. The rest of the application, however, is actually filled with a lot of information including ongoing campus events, sports schedules AND scores, and even has a nifty feature for local news organizations to post on. One of the best features is the PeopleFinder or directory, which especially helps when you really need to find out the email of somebody (anybody really, students and staff) in a pinch. If I were to recommend anything to the developers of the application, it would be to take a couple of pointers from Steve Jobs: improve the aesthetics. Things like improving the campus dining menu looks and even minor things like using the iPhone's page sliding animation when you go from one screen to the other. Having an application that presents itself well to the "consumer" would push my review to a 5. Don't get me wrong though, the information, and potential is ALL here. Pick it up if you've got an i-Device, and a Missouri Tiger.
  • Already a good app, but it will be good to see it develop

I like the idea, and I think the App looks very nice and works well already. The map is very handy and the people-finder will, I'm sure, be useful at some point. Any updates that come will be interesting - all that space on the home screen should go away eventually. Though I do like the map, it might be a little glitchy. It placed my bubble several blocks away from where I was sitting in my dor-- excuse me, residence hall. And my residence hall wasn't labeled, in addition to a few other buildings I noticed. But I do like it. It does makes me wonder how we're supposed to use the App very often, since there is no Wi-Fi access in the rooms. Not everybody has a 3G connection for their iWhatever. Things that could be added are access to student email, and perhaps a way to check grades or exam schedules would be handy as well (But yes, I know that gets tricky - look at me, being greedy). Overall, well done. A very handy tool wrapped in a very cool design.
  • Great app with just a few bugs.

    By Meg KCMO (Pcmac user)

I've been using this app since my freshman year and it's improved a lot over the past years. Interesting and useful information from sports scores, schedules and rosters, news, a campus map and the weather are very convenient to have. The app does have its minor crashes and bugs, but overall it's excellent for any Mizzou student.
