  • Really love this program

    By Mapav1 (Pcmac user)

I took a four year hiates from flying and got back into it again last year. I had the best of avionics including a Garman 430. This program is really better in many respects and Only requires an iPad and a GPS transmitter. I'm only flying vfr now but could not have done the flights I have done in the busy northeast corrider weaving my way around different air spaces. It's a great GPS and has many many other functions that I don't really use. I Love this program. thank you PS I got my IFR currency and love using the approach plates. Especially like the Geo referencing so I can see my plane's exact position as I do an approach. I have no problems with slow redraw rate or anything else. Support has been excellent. Program has everything – flight planning, E6B, IFR and VFR for maps, approach plates, Airport information, and weather. Just got ADS-B– from Open Flight and am looking forward to using it on my iPad to display weather and other aircraft. Great program thank you
  • Excellent

    By Solomonwannabe (Pcmac user)

Truly an egg outstanding electronic flight bag product! I am an instrument instructor for both ground school and flight coursework. Privately, as well as at a local organization. I am recommending this to everyone. Multiple overlays, intelligent – if sometimes counterintuitive – user interface, exceptional graphics. This makes flying easier and safer. I trust the data I am being shown. That should say all of it. One small additional item that I have not found in the program yet, the MOS. Model output statistics from the National Weather Service, that is the only thing I am still looking for here.
  • This WAS my go-to app for in-flight use

    By Hanson24 (Pcmac user)

Bugs persist. No longer reliable for in-flight use. For example ‘track-up’ ‘north-up’ function is broken. I notified developers of this six months ago. Unfortunately… I am moving on to another App. Update: Internet weather appears to have been fixed. It is now minutes old as opposed to hours old. I’m adding one star. Keep it up this app, you can make your way back to the top. Despite the glitz of ForeFlight, this app was my preferred app. The information display was easier to use in flight, and the split-screen function is amazing. This app was designed for flight and I introduced it to many of my students. That being said, lately the quality of the app has gone down. There are too many bugs to mention, and unless there is a change with the next update, I may have to jump ship and go with one of the competitors. I’m not sure what’s going on at Hilton, but I hope they get it in gear.
  • Customer service is almost non-existent - Having more and more issues lately with the app

By I Fly By GPS (Pcmac user)

Just ok, used to be awesome. Customer service has taken a turn for the worse and if you e-mail or call you will get voicemail and they will cal you back in 3-7 days. They used to have the best customer service, now if you have a problem you will wait and eventually decide that maybe one of the competing apps is a better match. I made the switch to a different app but will keep this app installed to see if they bring it around in the future.
