I ❤️ iMovie, just a few problems.

I love this app, it is AMAZING for creating high-quality videos and making enhancing, short previews. Sadly, I have a MAJOR complaint. When you add a lot of clips, it gets really slow and glitchy. So glitchy that once I was adding videos and it moved ALL of the audio to random places around the movie. I had to redo all of my audio, which took an unneeded half hour. (I was in an early movie stage) Also, the iCloud loading wait takes FOREVER. Could you PLEASE possibly make it shorter, or make it where EVERY TIME it doesn’t do it? I would really appreciate it. On the other hand, it is a good app. It’s tools work very well. What this app has is good, but needs bug fixes. UPDATE: Ok, it got a little better. There’s still like a 10 second delay for editing after you reach a point, but it hasn’t mixed everything up again. Also, I just found overlays and I’m disappointed how you can’t have more than one running at once. What’s more, the text in this app is really dumb. It stays on a specific spot on the screen, always has the same antimation and is just hard to work with. At least let us drag it around the screen! Overall, OK app, I would suggest this free video editor on computers called VSDC because it has more features, and, well, IT’S FREE!😀

Lets start off with my first reason, this this app app does not allow you to have your own music so you cannot download a music track or song that you want unless you get a different app and share the music to this app but overall it is a hassle to do that. Second reason, this is also about the music deal, when I want to download a song, which I do from a great app Called documents, anyway when I do that it shows the song picture and then the music. You can detach the audio from the video or picture but you cannot delete the video or picture because if you delete either one of those it deletes the audio, that doesn’t make any sense why it does that. Third reason, it’s overall glitchy. For example when I want to add a picture it doesn’t give you the option to select things, which means you can select multiple pictures. It doesn’t have that Feature only at one period of time you can do that which is at the beginning. Fourth reason, when you want to do a trailer you do not have the option to edit what the trailer music is. For example I am a stop motion artist and I wanted to do a trailer for fun. But the last thing I wanted to do was add my own music, then I found out that you cannot add your own music. Wow that is also dumb.
Glitches from iOS 12.3.1 update

Please, Please, Please Fix! I only use this app and usually love it...however, Since the latest update for my iPad that includes green screen there are a variety of issues making the app difficult to use....I feel very inconvenienced after having to start again and edit an hour long movie three times! Lagging start and editing, Greyed out clips and a black preview screen, glitches....overlays blacked out, some clips fine some blacked out, also after adding new clips to the edit when I press to play the movie it says it’s “downloading from iCloud” but it never does. I have iCloud Photo Library option on “Keep Originals”, and the iCloud option for this app off, yet it still tries to download from it. I even signed out of my device and but it gives the same message. If all the clips used in the project are in full resolution on my iPad, I signed out of iCloud AND I had the setting on “keep originals” why is it still trying to download from this cloud?. The other perfectly fine clips also glitch and sometimes say the same message. All the clips ultimately alternate from being fine to acting out and being blacked out and glitching. Movie taking forever to load or freezing..have tried troubleshooting by restarting the movie from scratch...Same thing happening since update.

This app is extremely great. It it so great for comedy videos and vlogs and more. This is the one and only app I use because it’s the best..but, it’s been crashing lately all sudden..while I’m working on my video, it’ll turn the screen black and won’t let me see the video at all. also when I’m trying to split the video it wouldn’t show and when I tap on the clip it will take me back to the clip before. However, when I put sound affects into my clips, when it glitches or crashes, it will place the sound affects further back and not where I want it to be. I love this app but it gets me upset because I end up deleting my hard work project that I put effort in because of the crashes and how everything gets all over the place and messes the video up. I also tried saving my project before it gets worse instead of just deleting it but it told me “fail to export”. Please fix these issues because I don’t like dealing with this situation that kind of gets me upset and just wastes my time and so as other people. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Thanks you.
