  • New update

    By 03/27 (Pcmac user)

I have used this app for several years. I have even purchased the app versions and have been extremely satisfied with the ability to open the app quickly and start my study or quickly find verses to read. But this new update is awful with all the advertisements at startup. I wouldn’t be so upset if I hadn’t actually purchased a number of their the app versions. I would even be willing to make a purchase or a subscription, anything if it meant I could get away from all these advertisements. It’s so distracting that I’m actually considering starting all over again with another app. Update: I paid the fee to stop the advertisements and now I’m able to use the app again. I moved from one star to three because I don’t think I should have had to pay to stop the ads when I have purchased Bibles but it was only $1.99 and the purchased Bibles weren’t that expensive so I’m okay with that.
  • A very functional Bible

    By Finetimeswine (Pcmac user)

I use this the app almost exclusively. After years of memorizing out of my hard copy NASV my pastors started using NIV. So I now have a hard copy NIV to track my pastor and a "heart" copy NASV on my IPAD. Guess which one gets the most use? One other point may not mean much to the younger users, but is a game changer to older readers. Specifically, with the iPad zoom function, size of print is no longer an issue. If your eyes are slipping as you age, then an electronic the app is your answer for lifelong study of the Word. This app is outstanding in its functionality, but more importantly eternal in its impact.
  • App is No longer user friendly by constant ads

    By Merryville (Pcmac user)

I have used this app for years now and it has become my most used the app for when I’m away from my study desk. I have highlights and notes. I will frequently use the app in concert with other apps, mostly Notes during worship or the app class. However, since the update with the ads, the app must reload every time I exit and re-enter, so when I am taking notes in class or worship, I am waiting for the ads to run, distracting me from my primary focus. This is unacceptable. I will wait to see if the developers make appropriate user friendly changes, otherwise, I will delete this troublesome app and go back to the hard copy of the One Word. Please fix this- there is no reason to have the ads set up like this; it is a poor design flaw. Ads are not the problem, the design is.
  • Daily Bible Readings

By Tanya from Pittsburgh, Pa. (Pcmac user)

I like using this the app app. I use it in conjunction with Our Daily Bread by RBC ministries. I look up their daily the app reading by using this the app app. I also read some on my own( right now I am working my way through the psalms. I also use your today feature, all the sections. The search makes it so easy. Plus I am always using the notes, and highlight features. I love how I can choose the translation or even compare them. I would recommend using this app to others. Thus far, I don't have any complaints.
