Software Features and Description

1. Long Press on Input View to switch between Single and Phrase mode.

2. Long Press on Flashcard tool to bring up the UserList directory.

3. Long Press flashcard or folder for cut, paste, export functionality.

4. Long Press on the Input Box to switch between Single and Phrase mode.

5. In Single mode, the character is animated upon input while in phrase mode, characters are animated upon the done button being tab.

6. Create either flashcard or folder on Root via the + tool at the toolbar.

7. Tab on Flashcard tool to bring up the Flashcard directory.

8. To paste a previously cut flashcard/folder, Long Press on '+' tool on the toolbar.

9. Use the + icon next to the folder to create flashcard on folder.

10. Provide Strokes Order of Chinese Characters for Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

11. In App purchase has been removed and the voice functionality is now provided a standard feature.

Install eStroke - 易笔 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "eStroke"
The search will reveal the eStroke - 易笔 app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once eStroke is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including eStroke.
Now enjoy eStroke on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use eStroke,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "eStroke" » then Click "Install".
- eStroke - 易笔 will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

What a Mess!

This app is jam packed with some really good features but the user interface is extremely convoluted and has no thought behind usability. Many of the features are hidden, almost impossible to figure out, and impossible to remember once you do figure out how you did something. I guess the HIG is really just a guideline and not something that needs to be followed. I would love to work with the developers and help turn this app into a real user friendly tool. Please don't tell me to read the manual, these apps should be intuitive. I would like to give app a higher rating but until the UI improves it's just to hard to use. No matter how great the features are or how much information is there if you can't get to it it is useless.

This app needs a lot of work. Hard to manage lists of words. There isn't a good enough way to test your character writing. And it is glitch-prone... With a more user friendly interface and better practicing features it might be worth the money....

It works fine, however on iOS 5 sometimes it's unresponsive.
