  • Essential for Students

By Gayla & Pete (Pcmac user)

Thrilled to see the same excellent info contained in my Bontrager book from school over 10 years ago in a handy App!! I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Ballinger years ago. Fabulous gentleman! This App is a must for any Rad Tech student, travel tech, and old Techs like me. Great job Phil 😊
  • Missing X-Ray films & trauma & S.I. Joints

    By BUFFALOMAFIA (Pcmac user)

I think the app is good but why make an app that's half done. Some X-Rays are missing, S.I Joints are missing and how about some level I trauma X-Rays? I'm a travel X-Ray radiographer and some of these hospitals and students don't have a clue what Level I trauma X-Ray is? There should be all aspects of diagnostic Radiology in this app especially for teaching purposes.
  • Wonderful and useful

    By iClet (Pcmac user)

I am very pleased with this app. It is not over done, and pretty direct, making it user friendly for students. At this time our program does not require a device that could run this, but many students already have such devices and I'll recommend it to them. RT's ... I think you'll find it useful as a refresher, and or for seldom performed exams. Plus it has the "newer" or changed aspects of positioning and angles on ones I checked so far. The other nice feature for students at least is the ability to add notes. I see the potential as a technique book replacement with this feature. It also can serve for a student to add a note about a site specific variation in the exam. Two requests: not have the agreement screen come up every time app is activated and then have to click it. the other would be a badge/flag of some sort indicating a note was made. The only way to tell now which have notes, is to click the note button to check. If a badged or something showed, it would be a nice alert to check what you noted about it, or for a student to stop and say... better look ... maybe there is a department specific variation etc.
  • Radiographs

    By thfdcgechyuifdxvh (Pcmac user)

For such an expensive application, each one of the procedures should be followed by a radiograph not an explanation that a radiograph is coming soon. I’m very disappointed in this. As I would like to be able to show my students a radiograph from the correct positioning that he shown.
