What is Avaya one-X(R)? Avaya one-X® Mobile Lite for iPhone is a telephony dialer application that allows users to receive business calls on their mobile device. It also enables users to initiate calls as if using an office extension and decide whether to dial with one-X Mobile for business calls or directly from the iPhone for personal calls. The app uses the enterprise’s communications infrastructure to save money on international calls and improve the accessibility and productivity of mobile employees.
1. Avaya one-X Mobile Lite turns the iPhone into an office phone by delivering your business calls to your mobile device.
2. Avaya one-X® Mobile Lite for iPhone is a telephony dialer application for Avaya CS1000 Mobile Extension features.
3. * Avaya one-X Mobile Lite requires Mobile Extension enabled on Avaya CS1000 in the enterprise.
4. • One Number - Calls made to your business phone number will also ring on the iPhone.
5. * Please review “Requirements” and “First-time Setup” below for important Avaya application compatibility and configuration information.

[4] First-Time Setup:
1) Download and launch the application.
2) Configure the application parameters with the help of the company's network/telecommunications administrator.
3) Select "iPhone Settings" from the main application menu.
4) Enter the Feature Name Extensions settings and dialing rules (please note * and # are not supported by the iPhone SDK platform at this time).
5) Enter Emergency Number settings.

- Good for trunk dialing between 2 Avaya systems to show internal name and number
- User guide PDF is very helpful
- Took a bit to get set up
- Feature names were not consistent with ASA programming info
- A bit funny on outside dialing
- No support from Avaya
- Avaya doesn't get the idea that if the consumer has an iPhone they simply do not wish to learn how to build a watch to tell time.
