If you want to install and use the iRewardChart: Chore Tracker app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use iRewardChart: Chore Tracker for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: iRewardChart: Chore Tracker for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type iRewardChart: Chore Tracker in the search bar and press Search. Click on iRewardChart: Chore Tracker application icon. A window of iRewardChart: Chore Tracker on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the iRewardChart: Chore Tracker icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: iRewardChart: Chore Tracker for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use iRewardChart: Chore Tracker for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Children love to feel responsible, challenged and respected. But most children don't like being told what to do... iRewardChart also allows you to set up abstract goals like "Patience" and "Sharing With Others", so rewards teach the virtues you want your child to learn. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- iRewardChart includes a backup and sync service, so that parents and children can share their chart across the devices. Our sync services is FREE to use, and uses Dropbox, which is also free. "iRewardChart" is a full featured free version with only the following limitations: - It supports a maximum of one child. - It supports a maximum of four tasks per week Please consider buying the in-app Premium Feature that allows unlimited children and tasks if the basic version is helpful to you.

  • Ripoff / deceitful pricing for family but marginally useful

First, you have to buy the premium version for this to be useful. Not a big deal as I don't mind paying for valuable apps (I have upgraded many apps for as much as $20). However, this developer wants to squeeze as much as possible by making you think the upgrade fee is just 3.99. However, it is 3.99 per device even if you have Family Sharing. So, I can't share the app between my iPad and phone without paying for the upgrade again. Reached out to customer service multiple times and they basically said "Tough Luck". Don't buy it if you consistently use multiple devices as a family. If you only use one device as a family, you are probably fine. As for the app, I would say 50-60% is intuitive and the remainder just takes some clicking around to figure out how to customize. Customer service response time is fine, but pretty easy when you just have to respond with "too bad" all day. Perfect business model for AI canned responses I guess.
  • Great but not perfect

I really do love this app. This is the kind of thing I was looking for. We usually use paper charts for our children, however it was becoming a nuisance to print them out every week, and remember plus or minus points while we were away from the house. This app enables us to use a point system on the go with the convenience of the phone. I also like the fact that we can sync the account between mommy and daddy. However the one bug I found is that when I tried to sync my account the app crashed and I lost all my data because I had to reset it. Resetting it was pretty smooth. But now I'm worried about syncing. The other thing that is a little annoying about the app is that the general user interface is not exactly intuitive like it should be. Otherwise as far as functionality, this tool is perfect for our kids.

I just tried this app with my grandson. So far it's great, I like the customization of tasks and rewards. Would like to be able to create categories and have the ability to add negative points. A reward system should include both not just one. Also I accidently added points and found like I've read in other review impossible to remove. So I had to redeem the points I accidentally gave by creating one speciffically designed to remove those points. By doing so however, it did not remove them from the "Points Earned" it only reflected in the "Current Balance" If the ability to award negative points and remove accidentlly awarded points and have them reflect int eh "Points Earned" this app would recieve five stars from me
  • Good customer service so far!

I bought and used the app many years ago. Later I stopped using it since my kids grew up. Recently I tried to use it again and was notified my version was not a premium version (maybe after many updates, the system forgot me, not sure yet). I used the link provided in the pop up message to try to restore my services. I got a pretty quick response from the customer service and able to have my premium version back without any problems. The better thing is the customer representative even email me later to double check if I had trouble with restoring, which makes me think they are maintaining a good relationship with users. Well, so far so good.

  • Upgrade To Premium (Beware)

This app is super helpful. The $3.99 premium price isn’t too bad for what the app can do. Customize behaviors, points, rewards, etc. However, this would’ve been 5 Stars if the developer was not trying to make me pay $3.99 for every device I use that’s signed into my Apple ID. I understand why, but I can’t bring myself to upgrade to premium on my wife’s phone and both our iPads when they’re all signed into the same account.

Great app but can’t delete tasks that have stars awarded. Would be nice to truly change what my kid is working on.
  • Wish you could add pics so it’s easier for little ones to understand

Love this app but I wish it had a bit more flexibility in how the points and rewards are shown to the children.

I had reset my iPad and my paid app disappeared and wouldn’t allow me to put it back on. Customer support fixed the issue and helped me out. They were fast efficient and helpful. I love this app as it helps me keep track of my kids did it lists.
  • Not ideal for more than 1 child

Good concept - bad execution. If you want to reward all of your children you need to upgrade. Even if you do upgrade you have to PAY to upgrade on both parents devices even if it’s on family share. Keep Searching
  • Great for reward system anywhere

Update: After waiting for about a week, I was finally able to access the upgraded features. The app has been great as far as the behavior/reward function goes for our 4 year old. Our oldest thrives on rewards so we like that we can access a reward system anywhere, not just at home. The interface could be a little more user friendly for setting things up, but it just takes getting used to where to find each feature. My biggest gripe is that I paid $3.99 for the upgrade a week ago so I could also add my 2 year old and have not been able to access the upgraded features! I’ve contacted the developers twice about this issue. I heard back once only with info explaining what the upgrade entails but not resolving the problem. I still have no results and am very frustrated! If the problem is ever resolved and I’m satisfied, I will update my review.

The app now crashes across each of my kids iPads and my phone. Sent email a week ago to the iRewards folks and haven’t heard back. Unfortunately my kids had a bunch of stars/rewards I owe them and I can’t see track it. Come on guys, at least be responsible enough to respond.
