Enjoy the game and can only give 1 instead of 5 stars. I paid $4.99 to remove the ads; while they are not on my iPad, they have not been removed on my iPhone. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. If you have to pay $4.99 per device (shame on me if I missed this stipulation), then I rate with 0 stars. Am I missing something? Would like to contact these folks, I cannot see where I can do so. They don’t seem to read these reviews and haven’t contacted me to explain. Also don’t understand why my review is posted by “HandiGal” as this is not my handle. This game is a complete scam. I emailed these folks asking to explain why you have to pay $4.99 for no ads PER DEVICE!!! Also, they reuse cards in every game. For example, you will see 7 kings played in one game. This has happened every single time; I have stopped keeping track of duplicate cards. DO NOT USE THIS APP, EVEN IF YOU USE THE FREE VERSION. I have never rated an app, but felt the need to do so with this app.

I don’t know where to begin - there is SOOOOOO much wrong with how this game app plays. It does have a pretty interface and I suspect that quite a bit of thought went into its development. I suppose quite of bit of thought also went into how to have a game play AS NON-RANDOM and one sided as this one. I’ve been playing “the app” for several years and I have never experienced as non-random card play as with this game. The play ALWAYS favors the “house”. ALWAYS. I quite keeping track of the times I discard one card and the house will knock (with one point) or big the app/the app. I am constantly undercut when I knock and almost always by one point. THE GAME IS SIMPLY NO FUN TO PLAY. Also, I will be building a run or three of a kind or pursuing a particular strategy and will draw a card only to have the app rearrange “my” cards defaulting to “its” strategy - it completely screws up my hand and where I WANTED to go. Do not buy this app.

This game cheats so bad, it’s nothing more than a time killer. That is, as long as you don’t mind constantly getting Undercut or having the opponent consistently hitting the app and Big the app. And then there’s the miraculous rearranging of your cards at the last second before the opponent decides to Knock when you suddenly went from having a few points in your hand to twenty, thirty or even more because all your face cards were suddenly put back into play. And it’s amazing how the opponent hits the app after drawing only a couple of cards or how you consistently draw nothing but high cards when you want middle or low cards. And the Big Prize notification after every game! Come on!! I said “No” once. How many times do I have to say it. I’m almost afraid that it’s a scam of some sort so I refuse to touch it. I’ll keep playing for now because I have time to kill but this game’s algorithm is definitely heavily geared toward the AI.
Too many glitches, not natural playing

If you play this app a lot, you will notice a lot of glitches happen in the program, especially when playing against the computer/iPhone. The cards are not shuffled evenly, one player invariably gets mostly high cards and the other player mostly low cards which leads to an almost immediate knock, and then it switches players after a while of this. This happens so much more frequently than it does in real play with real cards. The iPhone player almost gets the app first, almost always right when you are about to get the app and your last needed card is up; this happens so often it must obviously be a glitch. These glitches become predictable and the fun of the game is lost.
