Software Features and Description

1. Ideal for saving roaming charges or having to find the local wifi to access the built-in map application.

2. You don't need to have internet connection for this to work as the map is stored on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

3. The source of the map is from Open Street Map, under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 license.

4. This app allows you to browse street level map of Venice when you are traveling.

5. We are currently building and field testing support for GPS and this will be released as a free update soon.

6. You can pinch to zoom in and out of the map just like you can with the built-in map application.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Venice Offline Street Map"
The search will reveal the Venice Offline Street Map app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Venice Offline Street Map is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Venice Offline Street Map.

the app is a city that requires a map - we got really lost our first night taking a wrong turn in the dark. After that, I had this app on my phone and could see where we were and use it to make the right turns to our destination. A life saver!
Interesting and Free

General, good information about surrounding islands, points of interest, airport and train stations. Not a full app but free and worth checking out. Maps need improvements if they are to be used to get around. At street detail level there are only a couple of street names.
Erratic and vague

If you can get this app to focus on the part of the city you're in, you will be hard-pressed to find the name of a street near you. This app is not worth the moments it takes to download it.
Map is useless
