Software Features and Description

2. Practice sending Morse Code on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

3. Touch the display screen and the device will sound out a tone.

4. The duration of the tone is controlled by how long you touch the device screen.

5. This is a very simple touchscreen-based Morse Code straight key.

6. A Morse Code tutorial is not included.

7. Send Dots using quick touches, and Dashes by touches held down 3 times longer.

8. The tone frequency is adjustable from 300 Hz to 1200 Hz in the Settings.

9. There is also an iambic keyer (mode A) with adjustable dot speed available.

10. The volume can be adjusted to a lower level as well.

11. You can find one on Wikipedia or on the ARRL website.

Install MorseKey app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using MorseKey on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MorseKey"
The search will reveal the MorseKey app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MorseKey is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MorseKey.
Now enjoy MorseKey on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native MorseKey Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use MorseKey,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "MorseKey" » then Click "Install".
- MorseKey will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Stopped working on IOS update

Update: I am putting this review back up to five stars. I solved the problem by turning Pandora on listening to sound and then turning it off. The Morse App came back on with sound. Please remove the one star review regarding no sound with the IOS 6.2.1. The app works great again.

If it doesn’t work for you, you need to toggle the ringer switch on your phone. It’s not the app’s fault. Best iambic key simulator out there!

Very great for practice but for some reason it decides just not to work sometimes and you must delete and reinstall the app to allow it to even make sound. Very annoying and nothing new has been fixing it yet.
No sound

Installed and it didn’t make any sounds so I deleted it and reinstalled but it still don’t work.
