What is Baltic Deco Planner? The app is a tool designed for technical divers to plan staged decompression dives. It supports open circuit and closed circuit rebreathers, multi-level and repetitive dives, nitrox, trimix, altitude adjustments, metric and imperial measurements. The app keeps track of gas consumption, OTUs and CNS. It allows for per dive configurable ascent/descent rates, last stop/stop interval settings and RMV/MOR. I like the app, but it really needs to calculate for fresh water. Also, saving a new dive profile isn't very intuitive. That said, the app does a great job of generating tables. I've checked it against several other dive planning programs, including GAP, and the deco schedules are similar. Again, for those of us that dive both fresh and salt water, the app misses the mark on the fresh water side. I'm told that for very deep dives on trimix, the app is less reliable than some others. I've only used it for air dives in the 165' range, and so far haven't seen anything unexpected. I still check it against other software and make absolutely sure what I see makes sense.

After getting used to the layout and where all the functions are located, this app does all that I need. Flexible enough to cover contingencies too. I'd buy it again.
