Software Features and Description

1. While it's easy for someone with no music knowledge to create a complex melody, synthpond is also suited for advanced musicians who are interested in generative musical composition.

2. synthPond is a relaxing spatial sequencer and generative audio toy inspired by the work of Toshio Iwai.

3. Unlike a normal sequencer where you place notes on a grid and a moving playhead plays them, in synthPond you place nodes in a field (pond).

4. Additionally, the audio generated can be placed in a 3D space, occurring around the listener coming from the relative positions of each node.

5. This also allows for spatial features like orbiting to create a more generative composition.

6. synthPond requires headphones, without them you may hear distorted or limited audio.

7. Because the system is spatial, it's easily graspable and very intuitive, but also very deep.

8. It's the easiest way to get familiar with the software and understand what is possible.

Install synthPond Lite app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using synthPond Lite on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "synthPond Lite"
The search will reveal the synthPond Lite app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once synthPond Lite is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including synthPond Lite.
Now enjoy synthPond Lite on PC.

Excellent sound toy/music maker

If you've ever played Electroplankton for the Nintenfo DS, you know the kind of mesmerizing, soothing fun a "sound toy" or music synth can bring... With a playful approach to sound creation, the app allows you to play in your own sound world, adding notes and changing their characteristics at your whim. And as you start to get used to the interface, it becomes more intuitive, and soon you're just playing and an hour as gone by...! Even better and more engrossing, is the full version of the app, adding mire in-depth features such as altering pitch, etc. of notes, as well as orbiting notes (which us awesome), and multiple other features. It's a great application/game that will have you busy for hours... But hey, youre being creative, so there's no harm in that!
A great creation for electronic music learning

I find this application as what Brian Eno's Koan templates would have required to become a popular tool for electronic music creation. I used to love Koan templates, but wouldn't dare to alter them freely because I was not able to envision how they worked. Well, I would alter some parts but with no logic... This is a very clever visual representation of what is working in the sounds. It is like painting with audio! This guy is a genius. Thank you for sharing your vision!

It takes a while to get how to use it I played with it a lot. It's fun and you can change the sound by holding the ... Thing...button...down and choose it's fun and interesting...:)

Wow, Im not sure if I could possibly ever have something bad to say about this app. I would pay money for this for sure. Thank you creators. I think my favorite part is the 4-D sound.
