What is Ocarina?
Smule's Ocarina is an app that turns your iPhone into an ancient flute. It is an entertainment program that allows you to create music by blowing air into your mic, touching combinations of holes to play notes, and tilting to change vibrato rate and depth. The app is sensitive to your breath, touch, and movements, making it more versatile than an actual flute. With Ocarina, you can also listen to people learning to play around the world, rate your favorite performances, name your Ocarina, share your favorite performances with family and friends via email, and record and archive your favorite performances on your own "My Ocarina" web page.
1. Ocarina fans from all over the world have posted hundreds of free easy–to-read scores for popular songs.
2. One of Apple's All-Time Top 20 Apps, Smule’s Ocarina turns your iPhone into an ancient flute.
3. With no musical training required, you'll blow away your friends and family with your new talent.
4. Just go to and click on 'Songbook'.
